The exhibition Sol de Pouca Dura took place at Oficinas do Convento in Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal, from the 28th of October to the 4th of November 2023. The artworks presented were created during the art residency Project SEEDS at Oficinas do Convento.
These artworks are seeking to discuss issues of block or containment, permeability or dispersion, using materials collected around the artistic residency sites.

In Post-fall or last memory, a bloc of earth was used on a performance that consisted in the following actions: compacting the earth into a block, holding it with arms extended for the longest period possible until letting it fall. The action was repeated until exhaustion. The block was fired after the last fall, containing the texture of the ground and its deformation.
In Movimentações de terra, a pile of dirt is subsequently moved up a hill until it was mixed with the gravel from the road.
Continual fall is a continuation from a previous work created at Quinta das Relvas. This time dirt is poured from the top of a metal mesh, letting it disperse on the floor.
