I was in Comporta, a very small portuguese village, and went for a walk at night. I went to Sado’s riverbed and it was almost empty, very quiet and the sky was very dark. As I was playing with the exposure settings, the clouds started to be visible and lots of light from Setubal too.

Rolling Tires

These tires were part of a dam, to prevent the salt water to enter the rice fields. Nowadays, there is lack of maintenance, so the dam is falling apart and tires are being carried by the tide. Instead of protecting the rice fields, tires are now a threat to aquatic animals and general nature.
