Morning Communters

Every day people commute from Cacilhas to Lisbon by boat, crossing the river Tejo. Shot taken with 35mm film.

Fishing at low tide

Two fishermen try to catch some fish at low tide, as they illumine water to attract the animals.
Cova do Vapor is a little village near Lisbon and most of the people depend on fishing activities, sometimes risking their own life.

Cova do Vapor is a small fishing village located near Lisbon. Because there was no urbanization plan, there are very narrow passages between some houses, and everything is different from what we are used to in modern places. It is, at some point, exotic.

Shot with 35mm film.

Old vs New

Old vs New

Two bridges coexist side by side, connecting both banks of the channel. What remains from the old bridge is still there, even after building a new one. Comporta, Portugal

Sunset Fishermen

After the classes I usually go to Cova do Vapor to enjoy the sunset and to talk with the local fishermen.

I love this place!
